Wild Card: Missed Opportunities

Writer's picture: Crystal CabraeCrystal Cabrae

This is us, every day, to random opportunities that come our way and we pass up for whatever reason. If you have been keeping up with the melodrama of my flower life, someone culled this flower I walked past every day. Every time I passed it, I was like "I have to bring my phone and take a picture of it". Even the morning before someone snipped it I thought the same thing, "I have to bring my phone and take a picture". Never once did I take the extra energy to remember to bring my phone and subconsciously thought it would always be there. And then it wasn't.

This is how we act with more important, less botanical things in our lives. We come up with excuses to not do something and the moment passes us by like a cloud on the breeze. It's annoying and would make anyone want to pull their hair out if they counted the number of opportunities that whizzed by because they just didn't feel like it.

Tips to getting things done for once:

  1. Take yourself seriously.

  2. Make some goals.

  3. Make a way to do said goals.

  4. Celebrate and repeat to keep going forward.

It's not really that difficult to get your life together. I could go on and on about all the wonderful things we all could do to boost our lives a little more, but would you actually do it?

If you or someone you know is suffering from the lazy habit of doing nothing, check out my course that's launching THIS JULY! Check it out here! Until next week yall!

Expand Your Mind...

Let's face it, language learning isn't easy. But it can be fun and ultimately unite us across Lahnds and Rehlms. All we have to do is expand our minds. This is easiest understood by those who speak Earth English, but other languages from other places may also understand this language lesson.

Tip #1: Laugh every time you mess up and then try again. Every mistake is an opportunity to learn and grow. Embrace it!
