Knees weak

Arms are strugglin

To not shiver

On the daily

Temperatures crazy

Im nervous

I'm not gonna be calm and ready

To take on the day

Its comin

Sun is shinin

Summer

I'm not a rapper

Ima singer

Still not a lyricists

Just a rambling ventriloquist

Putting words in the mouths of my characters

On the page on the screen

For the inbetween moments

Between work and sleep

A time where I'm not cold

And there's peace.
