Today I decided to be a "normal blogger" and talk a little about something that I feel like most of us struggle with daily; bravery. It is a rare occasion that we deem something as brave, but we do brave things all the time. We just don't acknowledge them. These past six months I have been struggling with bravery myself. I have been faced with trial after trial, as I'm sure most of us have this year, and have had to make some tough calls on the spot. I've had to educate myself on various matters to adapt to my new normal and continue to push forward. Even right now, I have to be brave enough to keep writing instead of going back and editing like I want to. These little things that we do everyday need to be acknowledged not by others, but by ourselves. Even if it is for a moment, we need to drown out the inner critique with self love and compassion. Show appreciation for the fact that you at least showed up to work when you could’ve stayed in bed, made dinner when you could’ve ordered out, and took care of your kids even if they are un grateful as hell.

We sometime look like the girl in the picture, creeping through life unsure what lies on the other side or if we will survive long enough to even see whats ahead. But you will. In this moment, I believe that you are going to go out there into the world and do your best despite all the odds and you are brave for it. Today I acknowledge that I have done something incredibly brave by putting this jumble of words on the internet for the grammar police to crack down on me and shut this whole thing down. Yes these posts are incredibly raw and should be left in my laptop for my eyes only until they are perfect. But doesn't that just mean that no one will ever seen them because, as a writer, I know it will never be perfect. So continue to be brave and join me in posting raw content in the comments below. Our word vomit journey has just begun and I am so excited to see what we have up ahead.

Moral of the story: YOU ARE BRAVE. START ACTING LIKE IT!

Can't wait to see what word vomit you come up with today.

Optional Instructions: Think of a time that you could've been brave and write out how the scenario would’ve gone had you acted bravely. This not only helps you forgive yourself for not being brave and letting go of a time that you let an opportunity pass you by. We have all been there so it is okay. There's always next time!

Expand Your Mind...

Let's face it, language learning isn't easy. But it can be fun and ultimately unite us across Lahnds and Rehlms. All we have to do is expand our minds. This is easiest understood by those who speak Earth English, but other languages from other places may also understand this language lesson.

Tip #1: Laugh every time you mess up and then try again. Every mistake is an opportunity to learn and grow. Embrace it!
