If you know anything about Alvin and the Chipmunks, you know that Theodore Seville is the cutest and sweetest lil' boy on planet earth. It doesn't matter where or how you see him, he's always the most loveable chipmunk of the bunch. I will admit that sometimes I had a hard time writing his lines because of his passive nature and timid attitude. It doesn't take a lot for this guy to get on board, but he can be a little gun shy. And don't get him angry. Don't believe me? Well, let's get to know this green-clad chipmunk and you can decide for yourself.

Theodore Seville

The shyest Chipmunk of the bunch, Theodore Seville is the kind of character that most people recognize because of his sweet nature and adorable face. He is often perceived as gullible and is often roped into Alvin's adventures with little resistance. He looks up to his brothers and can find it a bit hard to carve out his own path. He has a love for food that eventually turns into a cooking hobby. He shares this with his Chipette counterpart, Eleanor. Theodore is the most honest about his feelings, so it's no surprise that he shows his love more freely toward Eleanor. He may need a push now and then, but Theodore Seville knows how to make his lady smile. He's a bit self-conscious of his image and can at times be of a fraidy-cat. His heart is in the right place though. His connection to his emotions can make him seen as soft, but when he wants to voice his opinion he makes himself heard. Even if he needs reassurance from Simon. But who doesn't need a little nod of encouragement from their older sibling every now and then?

Theodore is my favorite Chipmunk to draw because of his chubby lil' cheeks, and it was through observing Theodore that I noticed what a sensitive soul he was. Even if he is afraid, he will find the courage to suppress that fear and protect someone if they need saving. He often puts others' needs before his own and can be counted on to have your back no matter what. Theodore is a guy that will melt your heart and remind you that there are still a few good people out there in the world.
