Character Analysis: Get To Know Kim Possible

We already talked about Kim Possible as a show, but we haven't had a chance to deep dive into Kim Possible, the person. When I was growing up, Kim was an icon that inspired girls that they could do more than play with dolls and dream up princes. Kim has the skills to kick bad-guy butt and still keep that bright red-orange hair in place. So, why don't we take a closer look at the crime-fighting teen and get to know what she's all about?
Known for her cargo pants and normally sporting a blow dryer grappling hook on her belt, Kimberly Ann Possible is a force that makes the bad guys scared. Her name strikes fear, anger, and a bit of annoyance in their hearts. If only she could have the same ease at school. Kim is known to be a bit awkward at times, noticeably around her crushes and love interests. She also tends to feel uncomfortable around things that are different, like role-playing games or kids in wheelchairs. This doesn't stop her from flashing that confident smile at the top of the cheer pyramid in front of a crowd. Her energy is infectious and her generosity earns her a lot of different friends all over the world. But nothing means more to her than family and her relationship with Ron Stoppable. Friends since pre-k, Kim wouldn't be who she is without Ron and the romance that blossoms between them over four seasons is enough to make anyone believe that true love is alive and well. Kim is also known to be a bit of a fashionista and can get into bitter rivalries with Bonnie over the latest trends at Club Banana.
Whether she's wearing her classic crop top or an undercover outfit, Kim is more than just looks and is an inspiration to girls everywhere that you can be a badass. It's hard to remember that Kim is just a girl that goes to Middleton High and isn't even old enough to get a drink, never mind fly to Tokyo on a school night. It's a miracle that this girl graduated at all.
